Curbing Malnutrition: Mrs. Ogorugba Promotes Healthy Meals for Isoko North Children

Deaconess Mrs. Veronica Ogorugba, the wife of the Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, has taken a significant step towards improving child nutrition by distributing soya milk and other healthy meals to children in the Local Government Area.

During the event held in Ozoro, Mrs. Ogorugba emphasized that this initiative is part of the state's observance of Maternal and Newborn Child Week. 

She pointed out that the program's objective is to address malnutrition in our communities effectively and sustainably.

Recognizing the importance of collective effort, she expressed gratitude to the First Lady of Delta State, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, for her invaluable support of this initiative.

The unveiling ceremony was well attended by key stakeholders, including Elder Prince Godwin Ogorugba, the Executive Chairman of Isoko North; Hon. Pascal Akpo'r Emeluaha, Leader of the Legislative Arm; Mrs. Irene Onwodi, Head of Personnel Management; HRM Queen Fejiro Elo Ogbogbo, Treasurer of the Council; and Mrs. Enifoma Patricia, Nutrition Focal Person for Isoko North.

Together, they are committed to fostering a healthier future for the children of Isoko North.
